Deep Self-Inquiry

Before real change is possible, we first have to see, feel, and understand what is.  What is the source of the reactivity we are encountering in ourselves?  What do we perceive to be at stake?  What assumptions are we making?  What representations of ourselves and others are involved?

When we ‘inquire deeply’ into a problem or concern, we approach our experience with the attitude of delving into it, feeling whatever it is more fully, and inviting it to reveal itself.   By looking deeply into problems, we can learn how to breathe space into them,  understand their hidden meanings, and reframe our attitude and view in a way that allows them to resolve.
